Monthly Favourites- October 2016

Hello everyone! It’s already November! Where is this year going? It’s monthly favourites time once again, and I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the past month! From entertainment, clothing and more I’m sharing it all. Let’s get started!

Monthly Favourites October 2016

Adele- I was lucky enough to score Adele tickets last year, and it was finally time to see her! She was amazing, as always. And so funny! If you ever get the chance to see her in concert, there is no way you can go wrong.

This is Us- The only new show I’ve started watching this year, and I love it! It reminds me a little of Parenthood with how everyone is connected while still having their own storyline. I love seeing Mandy Moore acting again, and it’s nice to see Milo (Jess) from Gilmore Girls again! It is a little weird seeing him as a dad.

Café Forty-Seven tank– You’ve actually already seen this shirt if you watched the “What I’m Taking to Walt Disney World” video I put up just over a week ago! I absolutely love the colour of it. And it’s so soft. Definitely a new favourite Disney themed piece of clothing!

Sweat pants– Since it’s jean season once again, I find that I like to change it to something a little more comfortable when I get home from work. These sweats from Old Navy are perfect! They’re not too hot, and not too baggy. Plus they have cute little pockets! I found the closest pair I could see online, but they are not the exact ones I have.

Nafise boots from JustFab– I’ll admit my favourite thing about fall is boot season! I have a pair that I got ~5 years ago that I love, but they are very worn and at the end of their life 🙁 I’ve looked at a lot of different styles to try and find that pair, with no luck. Enter a Facebook ad from JustFab, where I picked up 4 pairs of boots for under $100. Ah-mazing! I’m only sharing my current favourite pair, so you don’t think I’m some crazy boot lady!

Spooky Vanilla Candle- I’ve mentioned how much I love candles when the weather gets colder, and it’s been chilly lately! I only have one Halloween themed candle, so I’ve been lighting it a lot this month. It smells like a spiced vanilla, and it’s really nice! I bought it in 2015 so unfortunately it is no longer on the website.

Mouse Coffee Cozy– It’s it just the cutest! I mentioned it in my packing video as well, but it just brings a smile to my face every time I see it!– Now that you guys now I’m a DVC member I thought I would share one of the Disney websites I look at almost daily. It’s filled with other DVC members and is a great resource. It’s also how I know so much about what’s currently going on in the parks when I’m not there, and any rumors. One of my favourite things to read there are Trip Reports.

I don’t talk about what I do for fitness a lot, but I tried something new this month and thought I would share!

Daily Moves from Tone It Up- You probably know that I love Tone It Up and follow their weekly schedules, well, weekly, but I tried something new from them this month. They came out with a 31 day challenge for October, instead of the normal 8-week challenges. In this challenge you had to complete the 5 Daily Moves with 31 reps of each move. It was nice to change it up from my normal workout videos, and oh man was it hard! It didn’t seem like it was a lot, but for quite a few day it was hard to walk!

Ezekiel French Toast- Because I am a member of the Nutrition Plan, I got a special 31-day plan for every day of the challenge. While I didn’t follow it exactly, I felt like I made healthier choices throughout the months, and didn’t drink any pop! My favourite recipe from the plan? Ezekiel French Toast. It’s a healthier version if regular French toast, with protein powder, egg whites, and almond milk for the base, and Ezekiel bread instead of regular bread. 2 pieces are really filling!

IT’S FINALLY HERE GUYS!!! I’m so excited to announce that I am going to Walt Disney World on Sunday! I have been counting down the days for what seems like forever, and it’s finally almost here! Check out trip announcement video below (because I’ve been waiting to film it for over 200 days):

I will be in Walt Disney World from Sunday November 6th- Saturday November 12th, and I can’t wait! Don’t worry, because you are coming too! I will be bringing my camera and vlogging the whole time. I plan on filming a room tour of my room, as well as my sister’s accessible room, and sharing that with you when I get back!

There are 9 of us going, so I will be sharing different opinions, and lots of food! My whole family is going (Me, my Mom, Dad, and sister) plus a worker for my sister, and Ethan’s family (Ethan, his Mom, his Dad, and his brother). You probably know how long I’ve been looking forward to this, so hopefully you can feel my excitement! 🙂

As I mentioned in my what I can’t wait for post, I’m excited to be doing some things I’ve never done before! We are heading to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party one night, eating around the world at the Food & Wine Festival, and going to some new restaurants! If you want to see some of the places we will be eating at, check out this post.

Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see some live updates! You can find a quick link at the top of the sidebar, here, or I’m ObsessedwDisney 🙂 And if you happen to see me in Disney, come say hi! I’d love to meet you.

If there is something you’d like me to capture, please let me know in the comments here, or in the video! I cannot wait to share my trip with you, and all of the information I come back with. If you have a request for a post that I would need information actually from Walt Disney World, let me know that as well!

I have a bonus post for you guys on Sunday, and there will still be a post next Wednesday as normal. It’s already scheduled, so I will see you all when I get back!

Thank you so much for reading, and I’m off to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Bath & Body Works Haul!

Hello everyone! Last month I went to Bath and Body Works and stocked up on some goodies that I thought I would share with you today! I like going to Bath ad Body Works maybe twice a year (so I don’t go too overboard), and probably won’t go back until next year. Okay, let’s get started!

Bath & Body Works

Everything that I bought was part of a promotion, so I saved quite a bit! I believe what saved was around $68, when I spent just over $100. Not bad in my books!

Buy 3 Get 3 Free

I’ve mentioned how much I love these lotions before, so I picked up a few more! They’re the Ultra Shea Body Creams. I found that some of the ones that I had were a little heavy on the scent , so I opted to try something a little lighter this time. I’ve mentioned before that I like to keep a hand lotion at my desk at work, so I got the Warm Vanilla Sugar for that. I also bought a Pretty as a Peach one to get the deal, and found the scent was nice and light. For my third item I got the Pretty as a Peach shower gel. My sister was with me, and for her 3 she picked the Pretty as a Peach shower gel as well, a Salted Caramel Pumpkin body lotion matching shower gel. Let’s just say I got her hooked! Unfortunately I can’t find any links for that scent, so it must be discontinued, or not currently available.

$3 for $5

I picked up a few of the small hand sanitizers, which I am definitely taking to Disney! My sister got one to put on her backpack, and I got the other two. I kept the scents the same, and got two Warm Vanilla Sugar, and one Peach Bellini! We also grabbed two of the holders, which were $1 each. I can’t find a link for the plain holders either, but click here to see what it currently available.

soaps 3 for $18

As an impulse buy I decided to pick up some fall scented foaming hand soaps, because I really enjoy them! I find because they foam they last a while, and I love all the scent options they have! I picked up a Warm Vanilla Sugar, Peach Bellini, and Autumn Vines.

$2 for $28.50

Lastly I couldn’t leave Bath and Body Works without picking up a new candle. I was looking for something lighter, that I can use in between heaver scents to kind of clear the air. Because I knew they were generally part of a buy 2 deal I wanted another one that just reminded me of warmth and fall. One of my favourite things to do in the colder months is light a candle, watch some YouTube and drink tea. I grabbed a Warm Vanilla Sugar candle (can you sense a theme here?), and a Cranberry Woods one.

To see more about the products I picked up check out the video below!

Bath and Body Works has become one of my favourite stores, but I have to be careful around it! I hope you enjoyed a look at some of the things I picked up. 🙂 I’ve linked everything that I can find, but it is to the American website. If you are like me and happen to be in Canada, take note of that!

Have you picked up anything from Bath and Body Works lately? What’s your favourite thing they carry? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you so much for reading!
