Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty– I mentioned both of these books in the books I’ve read so far in 2019 post, but I really enjoyed these two! This book is about adult triplets and covers a year in their life. It was really just about life, but it had fun antidotes of people who had a story that involved the sisters, and it was definitely different. I just really liked getting to know the characters!

The Books I've Read in 2019, 2019 books, books, book review, bookworm, reading, books I've read, reading challenge,

My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing– This book was so good and I read it so fast! I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll leave the description below:

Our love story is simple. I met a gorgeous woman. We fell in love. We had kids. We moved to the suburbs. We told each other our biggest dreams, and our darkest secrets. And then we got bored.

We look like a normal couple. We’re your neighbors, the parents of your kid’s friend, the acquaintances you keep meaning to get dinner with.

We all have our secrets to keeping a marriage alive.

Ours just happens to be getting away with murder.

Waitress the Musical– Ok I know I have already mentioned the soundtrack in a favourites, but I finally saw the show! I loved it and would totally go see it again! Based on the 2007 movie. It was a little weird knowing the words to all of the songs and seeing everything that goes with the lyrics, seeing it all made me love it even more. If it’s coming to your area I would highly recommend it!

Beauty

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipstick in Everything– I used points at Sephora to get a sample size of this are I really like it! It’s a little sticky, but the colour is really nice and it lasts a long time! You can see me wearing it in the video at the bottom of the post!

youtuber

Jess Medley– I sort of stumbled down the YouTube rabbit hole of Disney cast member audition vlogs, and came across Jess. I’ve watched a bunch of her videos and she seems really nice! Not to say that I would be able to work for Disney, but being a vocal performer would be really neat. I enjoyed hearing some behind the scenes tidbits and she definitely doesn’t share a ton, but I like her stuff!

recipes

Peanut Butter Cup Overnight Oats– I’ve been having this for breakfast lately, and it’s really easy! I have a really weird stomach that I generally can’t eat oatmeal or anything similar without wanting to gag, but I’ve gotten used to these! They are quick to whip up in the evening and I heat them up in the morning, add some banana and a few chocolate chips and enjoy!

Easy Fish Tacos– I’ve had this recipe a few times and it’s really good and fresh! Spiced fish with a lime crema and slaw, the perfect summer meal!

priceless

Jonas brothers concert- Okay this is going to be really sappy, but in the month of August my sister and I went to a Jonas Brothers concert, and it was so much fun! I was living my best life and had a great time. The sappy part- I honestly never thought I would ever get to see them in concert again, I thought they were done! So to get that chance again and see how happy they were to be on stage again was perfect!
