Hello everyone, I hope you are well! In today’s Disney related post I’m going to be sharing more of our plans for our upcoming trip, and the things I can’t wait to see and do! I’ll have a Disney Cruise version of this post in a bit, because there are so many things I can’t wait to do. Okay, let’s jump in!
I’ll take you through what our rough plans are in order of the trip, and on November 13th we start out at Magic Kingdom!
Happily Ever After
This is probably my #1 thing for this trip (the WDW part not the cruise)! We saw Wishes for the last time in November 2016, and I haven’t seen Happily Ever After in person! I have watched it on YouTube because I didn’t know when I would back, but I’ve tried to stay away from it since we booked this trip so it’s somewhat new. It’s also the reason we are visiting Magic Kingdom on this day, because the next day there is a Christmas Party. We’ve done that, but because there are special fireworks for the party my only chance to see HEA is on the Wednesday. So that’s what we are doing!
We don’t have any dining reservations in Magic Kingdom and will probably just split quick service meals to be honest. I’m excited to try mobile ordering, and will definitely report back. I’m super excited just to BE in Magic Kingdom again, and ride some of my favourites. We will make sure to see the Castle lighting, and see the holiday decorations. There are Extra Magic Hours that evening, so I’m sure we will get in quite a few rides!
Our Fastpasses are:
- Haunted Mansion
- Space Mountain
- Pirates of the Caribbean
I made sure to schedule them as close to each other as I could and for the early afternoon, so hopefully we can get 4th and 5th and so on FastPasses in the afternoon.
November 14th- Animal Kingdom + Epcot!
Pandora was still under construction on my last trip, so I’m so excited to walk around and ride the rides! We will be rope dropping Animal Kingdom because I couldn’t get a FastPass for Flight of Passage, so that’s our #1 goal. After that, we will explore the rest of Pandora and Animal Kingdom! I’d like to eat at Satu’li Canteen for lunch because it looks really good, and we’ve never eaten there!
Our FastPasses for Animal Kingdom are:
- Na’vi River Journey
- Expedition Everest
- Kilimajaro Safari
Ride the Skyliner
Next we are going to head to Epcot by way of the Skyliner! My plan is to get a bus to Art of Animation (because we’ve never been there), and explore a little bit before grabbing the Skyliner. I really just want to see it in person and get all of the information so I can share it here, and share my experience! Also because of the construction that has started at Epcot, I don’t think it would be a bad thing to come in the back entrance!
Once we are at Epcot, I’m not sure what we will do! I’ll attempt to make a FastPass+ as soon as our Animal Kingdom ones have been used, so hopefully we can get something, we aren’t picky! I’d like to explore a bit of Food & Wine, but I realize we will be eating a lot on this day lol. We have dinner reservations at La Hacienda de San Angel which we’ve never tried before. And to end our evening, we will watch the new fireworks at Epcot- Epcot Forever! I’ve tried to not see anything so I’m surprised, and with one minor spoiler I’m doing pretty well!
exploring a new resort
We are staying at a new to us resort (I won’t share exactly where until after), but it’s one I’ve never been to and can’t wait to see in person! We have a breakfast at the restaurant planned for the morning we depart for our cruise, and I can’t wait to just hang out at the resort! We won’t know what time we will be getting on the bus for Port Canaveral until the night before, so it should be a relaxing morning wandering!
Monday November 18th
Before heading back to the airport, we are stopping by Hollywood Studios to try and see as much as we can! We have a reservation for Oga’s Cantina and will try to enjoy that and maybe get a ride on Smuggler’s Run to experience what we can of Galaxy’s Edge!
toy story land
And last but not least, Toy Story Land we haven’t seen! I have no idea how much time we will have on this day, but we have a FastPass+ for Alien Swirling Saucers so we will at least see a little bit of Toy Story Land!
If you’d like to hear more about what I can’t wait for on my next trip, check out the video below!
As you can tell, there is so much I’m excited for, and I can’t believe how quickly this trip is coming!
If you have a trip coming up, what’s something you can’t wait for?
Thank you so much for joining me today!
