Hello everyone! Could someone explain how it is April already? I don’t know where time is going! It’s time for my March monthly favourites, and I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the past month! I’m sharing some of my favourites from entertainment, food, and more! Okay, let’s get started.
Entertainment
Ed Sheeran Divide- You guys, I’m obsessed with this album! I listen to it all the time! I love the variety, and honestly feel there is a song for everyone. When the first two songs were released “Castle on the Hill” was my favourite, but man “Shape of You” is just so catchy! It’s hard to pick my favourite song, but I think it might be “How would you feel”.
The Office- I forgot how much I love this show! It’s been a few years since I’ve watched it all the way through, but Ethan and I started watching it together and now we are on season 5. We definitely slowed down on how much we are watching it, and now only watch it before bed. Every episode makes me laugh!
Candy Crush Jelly Saga- I put a little clip of me playing this game in Weekend Vlog #3, did you catch it? I’ve been playing this game for a few months now, so I thought it was about time I mentioned it! I find it is a good way to relax, and because it takes 30 minutes for lives to re-load, you can only play so long before you have to stop.
Beauty and the Beast- I went to see it opening weekend and absolutely loved it! I have so many good things to say. All of the additions to the story were great, the casting was spot on, and I think it was a great ode to the original. Does it replace it, not in my opinion, it’s just different. I think they both stand alone but are both great. Have you seen it? Let me know in the comments!
Beauty
Vaseline hand cream– I keep this hand cream on my bedside table along with one of my other favourites from Bath and Body Works. Sometimes I just don’t feel like putting on a scented hand cream, so this does the trick!
Sephora Face Masks– I shared these in my Sephora Haul a little while ago, but I finally put them to use! I like to have some “me time” on the weekends, so this was nice to put on and lay in bed while relaxing. I tried the pomegranate one with Ethan, and it left my face feeling so soft! I think buying a lot of them really can add up, but it was a nice change. I also like it better than a mask, because you just rub the excess in after instead of washing it off.
Recipe
Spaghetti Squash Mexican Bowls– I think I’m going to try and start sharing a new recipe every month! That way it motivates me to try something new, and I can share something vegetarian with you! This month while Ethan and I were house-sitting, we made these Mexican Bowls, and they were delicious! I love Mexican fare and these were very healthy! I sometimes find the spaghetti squash texture a little weird, but combined with the other ingredients it was great!
Miscellaneous
Headboard– In this month’s co-ordinating video, you might notice something a little different, I’m facing the other way! The reason for this is just behind me, the beautiful headboard Ethan made! It took two weekends of time, and I absolutely love it!
KyleandCourt pregnancy announcement video– You guys know I have been following KyleandCourt for years now, and I’ve even gone back and watched all of her pregnancy vlogs for each of her kids. Selfishly I wished they would have another baby so I could follow along in real time. Well, they are expecting baby #4! I’m so excited, and their pregnancy announcement video is officially the best I’ve ever seen, so I just had to include it! I encourage you to check it out!
