Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season! Today I’m taking a look back on the year, and sharing the goals I made for 2018 back in January! I’ll be sharing how I did on those goals, and next week I’ll be back with goals for 2019! Okay, let’s get started!
eat healthy
I think I did pretty well with this, especially as it got closer to the wedding. I think I still have to find the right balance of eating healthy while still having food that I want (but not necessarily junk), and I hope to work on that more in 2019. But while I was doing The 21 Day Fix, I was definitely eating healthy!
drink coffee black
I’ve had my coffee black a handful of times, so I feel like I accomplished this sort of! I have cut out sugar from my coffee and use milk instead of cream, but I really just need to get used to drinking it black!
run a 10k in less time (than 1:08)
HAHA. Funny Story. I didn’t do this in 2018, in fact the one 10K I ran I did even worse that my time in 2016 (which is where I got the 1:08 from). I haven’t run in a long time, since the 21 Day Fix is all planned workouts. I miss running, so maybe it will be a goal for 2019. It just sucks during the winter!
read 13 books
I feel like I killed this goal! I’ve read 26 books in 2018, and may even get another one in! I did set the bar pretty low because I didn’t know how busy I would be around the wedding, so the goal will definitely be higher next year! I’m planning on doing a post listing all of the books I read this year, so keep an eye out for that!
get the newsletter going
I had to put this one on hold for most of the year, but in October I started sending monthly emails! I’m sending an email on the last day of every month, covering the blog posts that went up that month, as well as any Disney related news that gets announced. If you’d like to get these emails (which I totally think you should), you can sign up below!
open my sticker shop
On January 31st, I did! I will admit that I haven’t done anything for the shop in a while, but I am trying to spend some time on it more often. I even had one sale, which isn’t much, but it’s a start! I will definitely be focusing on it more now that I don’t have a wedding to plan for! You can visit it here.
get back into working out 5 days a week
I definitely got back into this in the summer when I was doing the 21 Day Fix, and I had some weeks in the Fall that I continued with this. As for the beginning half of the year, I can barely remember! I hope to continue working out during the week come 2019, but I will speak more on that next week!
less screen time
I don’t know how I’ve done on this one, I used to use the app Moment to track my screen time, but a new iPhone update added basically the same thing. I think I just want to stop looking at Instagram ad Facebook so much, feeling like I need to see every single post. I’m going to keep working on that!
What were your goals for 2018, and how did you do? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you so much reading this today, and for keeping me accountable this year!
