Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again! I recently received my Erin Condren Life Planner in the mail, and I am so excited to share it with you! I’ll be showing pictures of everything I picked up as well as a video towards the bottom of the post, and at the very bottom there will be a GIVEAWAY! Okay, let’s get this thing started!
I surprised myself this year by picking the neutral colorway! I never thought I would, but I think since starting my sticker shop and using stickers more often in my planner, I wanted a blank slate! I also bought the planner starting in June, so I can plan blog posts even farther ahead! It runs from July 2018-June 2019. Let’s take a look inside!
From the moment you open the planner the neutral colorway shines! It feels like a blank slate and I’m loving it!
Then you get to the two years at a glance page, which is nice and neutral! You can see hints of the woven wonder pattern at the top. I’m going to try and use these pages more! Marking vacations, special events and things like that would nice to see all at once.
The goal pages are also toned down, which could allow you to sticker it up, colour code or whatever!
The monthly view is so freeing! The boxes are open at the top, but I love how there are only small touches of colour. This year they’ve added the next month in the bottom right hand corner, which I like!
The weekly view! It’s so nice not to have the design of the year around the sides, and makes it much easier to stick to one colour scheme! It’s very basic, but I feel like that’s what I need lately! The boxes have some space between them and no headers like the colourful version, but I like it!
They also went back to the normal lined notes pages after each month instead of the more segmented page from last year (which I never really used anyways). The left side is what would be at the back of each month, the right side is also lined because it’s the end of the planner. For the other months you would have your quote page! At the back of the planner you have lined pages, dot grid pages, and some colouring pages!
You also have a contacts page that is tabbed and easy to access! This is the first I’ve seen of it, but apparently it used to be in the planners back in the day!
The sticker sheets at the back are so pretty! Two functional pages, one page of decorative stickers, and one page of box stickers like from previous planners. I like that they paired this down, because although I used the boxes a little in my last planner, I think 2 pages was too much.
The folder in the back is gorgeous! I love this woven wonder pattern, and the black and pink I think really makes it shine.
The back of the folder hold the perpetual calendar, which has the same woven wonder pattern. Again the covers now come with the dashboard on the inside, on both the front and the back.
In conclusion not a lot changed this year, and you still have the high quality paper that was new last year. There are some minor changes with the notes pages between months and the small month at a glance on the monthly view page, but overall a lot is the same!
Free gifts with order!
I also got some free gifts with the order! A sticker page that you can see in the video, and a reusable shopping bag! It’s a nice material that is strong but I think would clean really easily! I will definitely keep mine with me! It comes with a band that wraps it all up attached.
I couldn’t resist the petite travel planner with my upcoming honeymoon! It has pages for planning the trip, as well as sort of journal for each day of your vacation, and a list of where to travel next! It has 4 weeks of planning pages, all colour coded!
My customer service experience
The first thing that I noticed when I opened my box was my cover wasn’t personalized! It was a bummer but I quickly went on to the Erin Condren website, and within my order reported a problem with the cover. Someone got back to me very quickly, and asked that I sent a picture of the cover I recieived. Once they received that they gave me some options, and I got the new cover shipped express for free! I’ve had problems with Erin Condren customer service before, some were so bad that I almost stopped shopping with them. But this experience was so great that I feel confident in recommending them again!
the video
If you’d like to see a full walk through of the planner and close-ups of everything I purchased, check out the video below! I also show comparisons of the colourful and neutral colourway (my planner last year vs this year).

I’m currently using the Carpe Diem A5 planner, but I LOVE EC things too!!
adisneyobsession says
I’ve never used a binder style planner Alisha! I went straight to EC products out of school because they were close enough to a style I was used to, just in the vertical format. But binder style planners can be so beautiful! Good luck in the giveaway and thank you for entering!

I just ordered my 2018-19 EC planner PLUS the summer seasonal suprise box (my first one!!) so I’m super pumped to get everything in the mail. I will be a senior in college this fall, so I’m excited to start planning my final journey through school. Fingers crossed for the giveaway because I could use the notebook for my classes

I love EC and cannot wait to get my new 2019 planner! I think I might switch from the vertical to horizontal and from neutral to colorful!
adisneyobsession says
I don’t know if I’d ever switch to horizontal, for some reason it feels like there’s more room in the vertical layout! But going from neutral to colourful would be a nice change, even though I did the opposite haha! Good luck in the giveaway Lilly, and thank you for entering!

I’m a white space planner. I like to plan day by day. I love my Happy Planner! But I’ve always, from the beginning, have dreamed of owning my very own Erin Condren LP. This is an amazing giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity!
