Hello eveyone, I hope you are well! Today I’m coming at you with a different type of post! I’m going to try the 10×10 challenge, using only 10 pieces of clothes for 10 days! I’m going to take you through the pieces I’ve chosen, and then I will be back in a few weeks showing you all of the outfits and my final thoughts! Okay, let’s jump in!
what’s the 10×10 challenge?
The 10×10 Challenge was created by Lee from stylebee.ca in 2015. It’s a challenge for someone who wants to avoid spending money on clothes, someone who wants to fall back in love with their wardrobe, or someone who wants to try something new! I the 10×10 challenge, you pick 10 pieces of clothing to wear for 10 days. You can modify it to suit your needs or challenge yourself depending on the types of pieces you count (shoes ect.).
Any changes I’m making
I won’t be including outer layers (I’m wearing the same coat every day right now anyways), the tank top I wear every day under everything, and loungewear, intimates or workout gear. So basically I’m counting tops and bottoms, plus a layering piece you’ll see listed below.
Why I am trying it
I’ve mentioned here and there for the last maybe six months that the idea of a capsule wardrobe had really peaked my interest. Having clothes that all work together and take the guess out of getting dresses. Plus, I’m not fashionable at all. I’d like to have something that says buy these clothes and make these outfits! Plus, I thought it would be fun to see how many combinations I can come up with using the clothes I picked. I talk a bit more about the why in the video below.
The clothes
I’ve linked all of the clothes I picked as best I could, some are a few years old and I couldn’t find links.
- Mickey Sweater (couldn’t find link)
- Owl Sweater (couldn’t find link)
- Old Navy Cardigan
- Massimo Black v-neck t shirt (from Target wen Target was in Canada)
- Cinderella Shirt (couldn’t find link)
- Chambray Shirt
- black jeans
- Fabletics leggings
- Gap Jeggings (linked the closest to the style I bought years ago)
- Burgundy Sateen Skinny Jeans
- cami tank top (not included in count)

Recap coming soon!
I’ll be back in two weeks with a recap of the challenge, plus pictures and video of all of the outfits! I started the challenge on Monday and I’m liking it so far! I feel like with this type of post I’m going out of my comfort zone a bit, and it’s fun so far!
Have you ever tried the 10×10 challenge? Or do you think it’s something you’d like to try? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you so much for joining me today!
