Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s already been another month. Today I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the month of July, from entertainment, to books, clothing and a recipe! Okay, let’s get started!

Entertainment
The Incredibles 2- I went to see this in theatres in June, and really liked it! I’ve mentioned the first movie on the blog before, so I really enjoyed getting to see a sequel. I found the plot a little predictable, but still really enjoyed it!
Ant Man and the Wasp- Ethan and I went to see this on our anniversary! I love Paul Rudd, and could honestly watch him in anything. I don’t 100% remember the first Ant Man, but enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters again. It also fits nicely into the current Marvel timeline (I have to be vague to not give away spoilers!).
The Amazing Race Canada: Heroes Edition- I’ve been a fan of The Amazing Race for a while now, but haven’t watched a full season in a while. We were just in time to start this season of The Amazing Race Canada, and I’ve really been liking it! It’s always fun to watch and Ethan and I talk about who would do what challenge if we ever were on the show (which would be so cool!). I also hear that some Survivor cast members may be on the next season of the American edition, so I’ll most likely be watching that!
Sharp Objects on HBO- I’ve been anxiously waiting for this show since reading the book last May, and I’ve liked it so far! It’s creepy, and very dark (so much so that I have to watch a bit of something else before falling asleep), but I still enjoy it. Amy Adams is really good in this role! Since it’s been over a year since I read the book, it’s like I don’t know what will happen next!
Books
The Heir & The Crown by Kierra Cass- I finished the last two books in The Selection series in July! I would highly recommend it! It jumps ahead in time, and you get to see how characters in the first three books ended up. I really like it! I hope they make them into movies so I can see the stories come to life!
The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn– My boss gave me this book to read, and I flew through it! It reminded me of The Girl on the Train and The Woman in Cabin 10, and it’s going to be a movie next year! Funnily enough Amy Adams has been cast, and I can definitely see her in this role after watching Sharp Objects!
Clothing
Old Navy Lightweight Hoodie– I’ve been wearing this sweater a ton this summer, because it’s so light weight! I live in the basement, so I’m always cold, and this has been prefect without being too hot! I’ve had a hard time finding it online, so I’ve linked the closest thing I could find. Below is the sweater, and I know it’s not the greatest picture, but hopefully it gives you an idea!
Seaselfie bathing suit– Since I know I’m going somewhere warm this November, I wanted to get some new bathing suits! I saw this brand first on Pinterest, and have heard through some Facebook groups that they can be a bit unreliable, so I bought through Amazon! I’ve bought three different ones, so I’ll link the tankini here and the one piece here. The one piece is by Cupshe, and the other two are by Seaselfie.
Recipes
Protein Pancake- I got this recipe from my boss, and I’ve been having it in the mornings for the past few months! I like to put a bit of peanut butter on top and slice up a banana. It’s 21 day fix friendly, which I’m currently doing and will share my experience in the future! Its:
- 1/4 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup of egg whites
- 2 tbps PB& Me powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
- blend all ingredients and pour in a pan!
