Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s already October! This year is flying by. I’m back today with another monthly favourites post, sharing some of my favourite things from the month of September! It was a very busy month because I got married, but I still found some items I wanted to share! I’ve also added a new Priceless category this month, sharing the favourite thing I did or experienced, or moment of the month. You might be able to guess what it is this month! Okay, let’s jump in!

Entertainment
Ridiculous Cakes on Food Network- I found this show on Food Network lately, and I love it! If you don’t know I bake, and love making cakes so this is right up my alley! While I’m definitely not as talented as the bakers on this show, I understand all of the materials and techniques they use, and really enjoy watching! I’ve even taken a class with Mike McCarey who is on the show.
Armchair Expert Podcast- I found this podcast when it came out and have listened to quite a few episodes! It’s hosted by Dax Sheppard, and he talks to different celebrities about their story. He’s so smart and has such an interesting way of looking at things, that I would really recommend giving it a try! I love how many of his Parenthood castmates he’s had on so far, and I like how long the episodes are! (1-2 hours).
Cry Pretty- Carrie Underwood’s new album came out in September, and I’ve been listening to it on repeat! I’ve been a fan since her American Idol days, and I’ve seen her twice in concert! My favourite songs from this album are Cry Pretty and Spinning Bottles and I’ve already got my tickets to see her in June!
Books
The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll- I had been waiting to recieve my ebook copy from the library for a while, and I was so excited when I could finally read it! I followed this author when she wrote a blog from Cosmo, then she had her own blog website, then released her first book Luckiest Girl Alive (which was really good!). and I really enjoyed this book too! Based on some Housewives, it focuses on a group of women from a reality show Goal Diggers, all entrepreneurs and women who take anything from anybody. When a cast member dies, your left wondering what happened and why. It’s told from different perspectives, and I don’t want to say any more so I don’t give anything away!
The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland 2018- I read this a few months ago but have forgotten to mention it! I love these books because of how informative and nearly scientific they are about the Disney parks. I feel like I know what to expect in Disneyland and I can’t wait! If you are someone who has never been to Walt Disney World, I would recommend these books (just a warning they are large!) because they give you a TON of information. They also have Touring Plans in the back, which essentially tell you which attractions or things to do in a specific order to make the most of your days in the park.
Final Girls by Riley Sager– This book is perfect for the upcoming Halloween season, although very dark. A Final Girl refers to a female survivor of a mass murder. The book is about a womans struggle to try and not identify as a Final Girl, but when another Final Girl commits suicide, her and the other remaining Final Girl come together. It’s confusing, and I can’t really find a description of the book (it’s all just quotes from readers), so that’s the best I can do without giving anything away!
Beauty
Satsuma Body Butter- I’ve loved Body Butters from The Body Shop for a long time, and have quite the stash in my bathroom! I’m currently using the Satsuma, and I love putting it on my arms and legs after getting out of the shower. The scent isn’t too much which is nice, and it leaves my skin really soft!
Grace and Stella Bath Bomb Set– I got this little pack of bath bombs as a gift before my wedding, and really tried to make time to use them in September! They are nice and small so it doesn’t feel like a waste (the Basin ones and Lush ones I’ve used before are massive!). and they were really nice!
Food & Drink
Freshii Energy Bites- I ordered these up on a whim one time when we ordered through Skip The Dishes, and I was surprised with how yummy they are! They have coconut, chocolate chips, oats, and seeds, and they’re quite filling! We’ve actually found a copycat recipe to make them ourselves (although I think they were missing something), but they weren’t bad!
Bubly Sparkling Water- I’ve been trying different brands of sparkling water over the last little while, basically trying to stop myself from drinking pop. I picked this brand up from Costco, and it’s not bad! The case comes with Lime, Strawberry, and grapefruit, and i think my favourite is Strawberry.
Tea- One of my goals in September was to not get sick before my wedding! So I tried to drink teas every day to keep any sickness at bay! One tea I reached for again and again was the Raspberry Earl Grey from Steeped Tea. it’s so yummy and a nice twist on traditional Early Grey! I also love this sampler set I picked up in Walt Disney World!
Priceless
Our wedding!
We got married on September 29th, and it was the perfect day! I’ll be sharing a lot more about our day (and please let me know in the comments if there’s something specific you’d like to see), but it really was the best day ever! Here’s one of the sneak peeks that we got from our photographer!
