Hello everyone, I hope you are well! I can’t believe it’s already the beginning of a new month, so that means today I’m sharing my September favourites! I have some entertainment favourites, clothing, a drink, and some priceless items! Okay, let’s get started!

Entertainment
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens– Such a beautiful book that left me in tears. I feel like I can’t describe it very well, so here’s the summary from Amazon:
Perfect for fans of Barbara Kingsolver and Karen Russell, Where the Crawdads Sing is at once an exquisite ode to the natural world, a heartbreaking coming-of-age story, and a surprising tale of possible murder. Owens reminds us that we are forever shaped by the children we once were, and that we are all subject to the beautiful and violent secrets that nature keeps.
Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty– I’ve mentioned this author many times before, and this is her newest book I was happy to finally get to read! The strangers meet at a health retreat, and it was just an interesting read. It went much differently than I thought, but I thought it was really good! Not as dark as Big Little Lies, but not as light as some of her other books. I would recommend it!
Parks & Recreation– After watching 30 Rock last year I’d had Parks and Rec on my radar. I know I’m like really behind in watching it, but it makes me laugh! I watch an episode or two in the morning, and I’m currently on season 2 . And I’m happy to have another 5 (I think) seasons to watch! To me it’s a cross between The Office and 30 Rock and I’m really liking!
Hunter Hayes’ Wild Blue part 1– I’ve liked Hunter Hayes for a long time after seeing him open for Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood, and I’m happy he has some new music out! I haven’t listened to it a ton, but I like having this on in the background, and Heartbreak is my favourite song on the album.
Taylor Swift’s Lover– I’m a Taylor Swift fan in that I like her music, but I’m not going to shell out $$$ to go to every concert. But I like her new album! I think my favourite songs are Lover and Paper Rings. I’ve listened to the fist half of the album a lot more than the second half just because I finish what I’m doing or whatever, but I like it! What’s your favourite song?
Clothing
Love Tree Sherpa sweater– I mentioned earlier this year a vest I got from Pixie Lee & Co. with the same material, and I knew I was going to buy myself a full sweater this fall. I had my eye on one from Etsy for around $50, so you can imagine how quickly I bought this one from Winners for $30. It’s so comfortable and I want to live in it. I am always cold so it’s like wearing a blanket. Makes me so happy! It’s the little things guys.
Food & Drink
Pumpkin Foam Cold Brew from Starbucks– I saw this all over Instagram and definitely had to try it. But I’m not a Pumpkin Spice person so I was nervous spending so much on a drink to end up not liking it. But I had Starbucks rewards so you can bet I tried it! It’s really good, and not too pumpkin-y. The foam is flavoured and it has an iced coffee below it, that as the foam mixed with the coffee it sweetens. Yummy! If it’s still warm where you are, give it a try!
Youtubers
Rachelle and Justin– I started following Rachelle on Instagram after finding her on the explore page (which I never use), and when she mentioned they had an empty house tour on their channel, I went and watched it. Beautiful house, and I quickly started watching a bunch of their videos. Which they have a ton, and it’s one of my favourite parts of finding someone new on YouTube.
Priceless
Cirque du Soleil Alegria– Ethan and I have seen 5 different Cirque shows in the 8 years we’ve been together, so clearly we like it! Alegria was the latest show to come to Toronto and we really enjoyed it! If you have a show in the area I would highly recommend going to see it, because I know we go every chance we get!
Celebration our One Year Anniversary!- September is a special month because we got married in September! So on Sunday we celebrated our first wedding anniversary which was fun and exciting! And much less stressful than this time last year. We went out for dinner, relaxed, ate some of our wedding cake (that we froze) and watched our wedding video. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year, and it was fun to celebrate our first year of marriage!
