Hello friends! I recently shopped online cashing in a gift card at Sephora, and I’m sharing everything I got with you today! It was a little funny because I wanted to wait a bit before I bought stuff, and having a gift card I could actually buy something new that I had my eye on. Of course after Christmas I noticed some of my everyday things were running low or needed to be replaced. I guess it was time to stock up!
How I shop
I usually shop online because I find it easier, but I also use Ebates when I shop, so I make a little bit of money back! For this trip, I made almost $7 in cash-back. Not bad in my opinion! It’s super easy to use. All you do is head to Ebates first, then click over to wherever you’d like to shop! If you’d like to sign up for Ebates, click here.
What I Bought
Kat Von D tattoo eyeliner– I use this eyeliner almost every day, so I needed a replacement. I hadn’t realized how much my first one had run out until I tried the new one. Definitely still a favourite!
Beauty Blender– another thing that needed to be replaced! Mine actually started to tear a bit, so I knew it was time to bite the bullet. I debated buying the multi-packs, but just went for one this time. Maybe I’ll consider the packs in the future.
Sephora face masks – I’ve taken to some “self-care” on Sundays, so I thought a few face masks would be a nice treat for myself! I even picked up two of the pomegranate ones so Ethan and I can both try it. I’ve heard good things about the hand and foot masks, so I thought I would try them out. I grabbed one Algae, 1 Avocado, 1 Pearl and 2 Pomegranates. I can’t wait to use them!
Sephora Skin Perfect CC Cream– This was definitely an impulse buy! It was on sale, and I’m always trying to find new foundations and face products. My skin is sensitive and is a little red, so I thought it would be a good idea to try a CC cream. I hadn’t even looked at reviews when I bought it, and I did after the fact. A lot of people complained that it had an orange tint to it, so when I put it on I asked my family, they said it just made me look like I had more colour in my face! I’m still debating whether to hold on to it until summer, or use it now, but I think the shade will be fine.
Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel– I have naturally wavy hair, but have never really found a great way to style it, so I normally either straighten or curl it. I recently bought a cheap hairdryer on Amazon with a diffuser attachment to play around with. The Deva Curl products are supposed to be great with frizz (which is some of what I struggle with). I’m still playing around with it, and I bought the smallest size. I don’t think it makes the biggest difference but that could just be me, and the fact that I’m only using it once in a while currently.
Origins deluxe samples- Another one of the reasons I shopped when I did was the deluxe sample available from Origins. It included samples of the Maskimizer (mask primer) and the Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. I’ve heard great things about their line of products, and wanted to try some!
Rosebud Salve in a tube– My lips get pretty chapped in the winter, so I thought trying something a little extra would be nice to keep beside my bed. It definitely has a floral scent which I’m not the biggest fan of, but I think I can get used to it! I’ve been using it to keep my lips hydrated through the night and it’s definitely working!
Whew! I know this isn’t the biggest haul, but considering I usually only buy two things from Sephora at a time this was big for me! If you’d like to hear a little more about the items I picked up, you can watch the video below!
If you’ve picked anything up from Sephora lately, let me know in the comments! I’ll also take any product recommendations you have
As always, thank you so much for reading!
