Hello everyone, I hope you are well! It’s that time of year again, so I’m sharing what I picked up duiring the Sephora Spring Sale this year! This post is going up a little late this year because it took a bit longer for me to get everything (understandably), but let’s see what I picked up this time!
This is the first sale in years that I haven’t been Rouge, so my discount has gone down to 15%, but I think that goes to show you that I have a lot already and don’t need to be buying more. But of course there were some things I had my eye on and wanted to pick up during the sale!
Sephora Bright Future Concealer in shade 01– I wanted to try this concealer as a cheaper alternative to the Nars one, so I’ll report back with how I like this one!
Sephora Collection Uncomplicated Brush Set– I felt like I had a good range of brushes, but I wanted a buffing foundation brush to try with my It Cosmetics CC Cream. It’s usually a better deal to get them in a set, so I thought I would pick this one up. I did have another one in my cart, but it sold out before I could buy it.
Rosebud Perfume Co Rosebud Salve in a Tube– A restock of the lip balm I use every night. It keeps my lips super hydrated and it’s lasted years. I love it and will continue to buy it!
Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser– This was something I wanted to try to see if it will clear my skin up (if you want to know more about the different products I’ve tried with my skin read this post). The before/after pictures on the Sephora website sold me so we will see! I’ll do another skincare update in a few months!
Clinique Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Face Cream– Speaking of skincare, the only product I haven’t changed in my routine is the face sunscreen, so I thought I would give this one a try. It was smaller than I expected so I don’t know if I’d pay that much for it again.
Tacha Violet-C Radiance Mask– Ok this was my absolute splurge. It’s very convenient that the sale comes right after my birthday, so I grab some fun things! I’ve heard really good things about this mask, and the packaging is beautiful. It’s definitely the most I’ve ever spent on a mask, so hopefully it’s worth the price!
Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum– Another step in the same line as the cleanser that I’m excited to try as well! I had it in my cart and it sold out, so when it came back in stock I placed a second order for this and the next item.
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo Mini– This was pretty much just to meet the free shipping minimum, and the bottle is crazy small for the price. I’ve noticed in the last little while how thin my hair is, so I thought I would give a thickening shampoo a try. But I would have to really consider purchasing the full size.
I also just wanted to touch on my experience with Sephora Customer Service during this process. I’ve placed many online orders and never had an issue. This time my Rosebud Salve was missing from the order, so I sent an email through the app. I got a weird auto-response that has nothing to do with my issue (it says it searches for keywords but it was just weird). I didn’t hear anything after I replied so I used the chat function. It was so easy and fast, and later that day I had a shipping notification. So kudos to Sephora especially during this crazy time.
