Walt Disney World Resort Hotels: The Deluxe Resorts Part 2!

The Deluxe Resorts Part 2

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing another post in the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Series, with part 2 all about the Deluxe Resorts! I’ll be sharing the rest of the resorts at the Deluxe level, and share the different room configurations available, as well as the food options at each resort! Okay, let’s get started!

The Deluxe Resorts Part 2

All prices are as of August 10th, 2018.

Club Level: Just as I mentioned in the last post, Club Level is a special level at the deluxe resorts that are more expensive, but come with a separate check in, concierge, as well as a special lounge with food at all meal times and snacks throughout the day.

Beach Club

Located in the Epcot Resort Area, with transportation by boat and bus, and you can even walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios! Rooms start at $401 per night.

  • Standard View ( 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen Beds, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed)
  • Garden or Woods View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen Bed and 1 Twin Size Sleeper chair and 1 Day bed, 2 Queen beds or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed)
  • Water View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen and 1 Twin sleeper chair and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed)
  • Deluxe Room- larger than a standard view (2 Queen beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • Club Level: Standard View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 1 King bed, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • Garden View (2 Queen beds)
    • Deluxe Room (2 Queen and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • Water View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin sleeper chair and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds and 1 King bed)
    • 1 Bedroom Suite ( 1 King bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • 2 Bedroom Suite ( 2 Queen beds and 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Food options: Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cape May Cafe (Character Dining) and Beaches & Cream are the Table Service Restaurants, and Beach Club Marketplace is the Quick Service restaurant.

We ate at Beaches & Cream on my last trip, and loved it! I would highly recommend going there even for dessert, and the No Way Jose is delicious!

The Deluxe Resorts Part 2

Contemporary Resort

Located in the Magic Kingdom resort area, and transportation is available by boat, bus and monorail. Rooms start at $410/night

  • Garden Wing:(located off of the A frame structure you think of when you hear the Contemporary Resort).
  • Standard View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Garden View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Deluxe Room (1 King bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
  • 1 Bedroom Club Level Suite (1 King bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa and 1 Twin sleeper chair)
  • Hospitality Suite ( 1 King bed and 1 Queen sleeper sofa and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa and 1 Day bed).
  • Main Tower: Lake View or Theme Park View (2 Queen best and 1 day bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
    • Club Level: Standard Room or Theme Park View ( 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
    • Bay Lake View 1 Bedroom Suite (2 Queen beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • 2 Bedroom Suite (4 Queen beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
  • Food options: California Grill, The Wave, and Chef Mickey’s (character meal buffet) are the Table Service options, and Contempo Cafe is the Quick Service Option.

California Grill is the one restaurant I recommend to people asking me for advice, the views can’t be beat, and the food is delicious! Even if you just go for drinks or appetizers, it’s great to just see it!

The Deluxe Resorts Part 2

Yacht Club

Located in the Epcot Resort Area, where transportation is available by boat or bus (and you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios). Rooms start at $401 per night

  • Standard View ( 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin sleeper sofa and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Garden or Woods view ( 2 Queen beds, or 2 Queen beds or 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin sleeper chair and 1 Day bed or 1 King bed)
  • Water View (2 Queen beds or 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin sleeper chair and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
    • Club Level: Standard View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin sleeper chair and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed)
    •  Garden View (1 King bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed)
    • Water View ( 1 King bed, or 2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
    • Deluxe Room (2 Queen beds)
    • 2 Bedroom Suite (2 King beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
  • Food options: Shared with Beach Club (above)

Yacht Club has a convention centre attached, so it’s worth noting that there can be people attending conferences and such staying there. I share a funny story about Yacht Club in the video at the bottom of the post!

The Deluxe Resorts Part 2

Boardwalk Resort

Also located in the Epcot resort area, has bus and boat transportation, and you can also walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Prices start at $439/night.

  • Standard View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 1 king bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Garden View (1 Day bed and 2 Queen beds, or 1 King bed and 1 Day bed)
  • Water View (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 2 Queen beds, or 1 King bed)
    • Club Level: Standard Room (2 Queen beds and 1 Day bed, or 1 King bed, or 2 Queen beds)
    • Deluxe Room (2 Queen beds and 1 Queen sleeper sofa)
    • Outer Building Garden Room (1 King Bed)
  • Food options: Flying Fish, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, and Trattoria al Forno (character breakfast) are the Table Service options, and Boardwalk Bakery is the Quick Service restaurant. One thing to note about Boardwalk Bakery is it is on the actual Boardwalk, so you’d have to actually walk around to access it. Normally the food options are off of the lobby or in the Main Building, so Boardwalk is a little different.

On my last trip to Walt Disney World we walked to the Boardwalk for the first time, and it has such a nice atmosphere! Being able to walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is so nice, and I’d love to stay here someday!
