Hello everyone! I hope February is treating you well! It’s monthly favourites time once again, and I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the past month! This month definitely features more categories than last month, and I’m sharing some of my favourites in entertainment, clothing, beauty and more! Before we get into it, can you believe I’ve officially been posting monthly favourites for a year? Where is time going! I just wanted to say a quick thank you for following along :). Okay, let’s get started!
Entertainment
The Magnolia Story- You guys know I love Fixer Upper, so I got Chip and Jo’s book for Christmas, and read it right after I finished Lauren Graham’s book. I really enjoyed it! There is so much more to them than you get from watching the show, but when you watch the show they are really being themselves. They’ve accomplished so much in their lives, even before they got their tv show.
Spotify– Ethan had been debating buying Spotify premium for a while now, and he finally bought it in December when they were offering 3 months for 99 cents. Since he’s bought it, I’ve been listening to it a ton! He’s downloaded some stuff to his phone so we can have music in the car (aka so I can listen to the Moana sountrack), but I also listen to it while we are hanging out in our room. My favourite playlist right now is Contemporary Blend. And the Moana sountrack. I’m obsessed.
Clothing
Fabletics Gia leggings– This was one of the things I was going to put last month, but because I had so many things it got bumped! I think Fabletics legging might be my favourite, and this pair is the warmest, so it’s the best in winter! They’re almost fleece on the inside, but they still aren’t too hot. I’m loving them!

Roots Sweatpants– I bet you saw this one coming. I actually bought a second pair! They are so comfortable and not too hot. I love changing into them when I get home from work!
Hunter Boots– It’s was definitely more rainy than snowy in January, so I got to wear my boots a lot! They are comfortable (they just don’t have a ton of support when you are walking a LOT), and I love the look of them! They are simple and yet make rubber boots look fancy
Beauty
Naked 3 Palette– I have been wearing this every day and loving it! I love having so many different shades to pick from, but sometimes I can’t make up my mind! Some of my favourite shades are trick, buzz, and burnout. I only use one shade at a time currently, so I’ll have to play around with using more than one soon!
Evolatree Ultra Soft Hair Towel- I bought this from Amazon, and really like having something that I know is good for my hair! It’s big enough that I know it will accommodate my hair as it grows, and with the button and elastic, it stays in place. I may even buy another one to use when one is in the wash!
Cortex 4 in 1 Curling Wand- I bought this using a groupon or WagJag (I’ve had it for about a year so I can’t quite remember), but I really like using it! It gives my hair a nice wave that I can get a few days out of, and it’s quick and easy! I’ll admit that when I first used it I had a hard time getting used to holding it upside down, but now it’s easy! I’ve been thinking of doing a “Get Ready With Me” style video, but I do my hair a couple of different ways, so let me know if you would be interested in multiple versions!
Food
Salt and Vinegar Popcorn- I mentioned in my Hello 2017 post that one of my goals for the year was to not eat chips, and so I’ve switched over to popcorn when I’m really craving chips! We have an air popper, so it’s healthier than the bags, although I do melt a bit of Becel to help the flavour stick. I use Kernerls flavouring, it’s the best in my opinion (second to the ones you can get at the movie theatres. Those are my #1).
