Hello everyone! It’s already November! Where is this year going? It’s monthly favourites time once again, and I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the past month! From entertainment, clothing and more I’m sharing it all. Let’s get started!
Entertainment
Adele- I was lucky enough to score Adele tickets last year, and it was finally time to see her! She was amazing, as always. And so funny! If you ever get the chance to see her in concert, there is no way you can go wrong.
This is Us- The only new show I’ve started watching this year, and I love it! It reminds me a little of Parenthood with how everyone is connected while still having their own storyline. I love seeing Mandy Moore acting again, and it’s nice to see Milo (Jess) from Gilmore Girls again! It is a little weird seeing him as a dad.
Clothing
CafĂ© Forty-Seven tank– You’ve actually already seen this shirt if you watched the “What I’m Taking to Walt Disney World” video I put up just over a week ago! I absolutely love the colour of it. And it’s so soft. Definitely a new favourite Disney themed piece of clothing!
Sweat pants– Since it’s jean season once again, I find that I like to change it to something a little more comfortable when I get home from work. These sweats from Old Navy are perfect! They’re not too hot, and not too baggy. Plus they have cute little pockets! I found the closest pair I could see online, but they are not the exact ones I have.
Nafise boots from JustFab– I’ll admit my favourite thing about fall is boot season! I have a pair that I got ~5 years ago that I love, but they are very worn and at the end of their life đ I’ve looked at a lot of different styles to try and find that pair, with no luck. Enter a Facebook ad from JustFab, where I picked up 4 pairs of boots for under $100. Ah-mazing! I’m only sharing my current favourite pair, so you don’t think I’m some crazy boot lady!
Miscellaneous
Spooky Vanilla Candle- I’ve mentioned how much I love candles when the weather gets colder, and it’s been chilly lately! I only have one Halloween themed candle, so I’ve been lighting it a lot this month. It smells like a spiced vanilla, and it’s really nice! I bought it in 2015 so unfortunately it is no longer on the website.
Mouse Coffee Cozy– It’s it just the cutest! I mentioned it in my packing video as well, but it just brings a smile to my face every time I see it!
MouseOwners.com– Now that you guys now I’m a DVC member I thought I would share one of the Disney websites I look at almost daily. It’s filled with other DVC members and is a great resource. It’s also how I know so much about what’s currently going on in the parks when I’m not there, and any rumors. One of my favourite things to read there are Trip Reports.
Fitness
I don’t talk about what I do for fitness a lot, but I tried something new this month and thought I would share!
Daily Moves from Tone It Up- You probably know that I love Tone It Up and follow their weekly schedules, well, weekly, but I tried something new from them this month. They came out with a 31 day challenge for October, instead of the normal 8-week challenges. In this challenge you had to complete the 5 Daily Moves with 31 reps of each move. It was nice to change it up from my normal workout videos, and oh man was it hard! It didn’t seem like it was a lot, but for quite a few day it was hard to walk!
Ezekiel French Toast- Because I am a member of the Nutrition Plan, I got a special 31-day plan for every day of the challenge. While I didn’t follow it exactly, I felt like I made healthier choices throughout the months, and didn’t drink any pop! My favourite recipe from the plan? Ezekiel French Toast. It’s a healthier version if regular French toast, with protein powder, egg whites, and almond milk for the base, and Ezekiel bread instead of regular bread. 2 pieces are really filling!
