Monthly Favourites- October 2018!

Monthly Favourites October 2018

Hello friends! I hope you are well! When you are reading this I will officially be on my Disneymoon! Yay! It’s monthly favourites time once again, and I’m sharing some of my favourite things from the month of October. I’ll be sharing some entertainment things, beauty, clothing, and more! Okay, let’s get started!

Monthly Favourites October 2018

Entertainment

Her Every Fear by Peter Swanson– I read this book through the end of September (which got a little busy with the wedding and all), so I had to renew it and finish it in October! I really liked it and didn’t want to put it down! I’ve read another of Peter Swansons books (The Kind Worth Killing) and enjoyed it as well. I would recommend it! The premise is sort of like The Holiday (the house swapping part of it), but with a murder mixed in.

monthly favourites october 2018

A Star is Born– I feel like everyone is talking about the remake, but I saw it and LOVED IT! I haven’t seen any previous versions so I didn’t have anything spoiled for me, and really enjoyed it. I think both Bradley Copper and Lady Gaga were amazing. I’ve also been listening to the soundtrack on Spotify non-stop!

Un-Fancy– If you’ve been watching my weekend vlogs lately, you’ll already know that I stumbled across the term Capsule Wardrobe, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it! When researching, the blog Un-Fancy was credited with the term Capsule Wadrobe, so I went straight to the source! I’ve ready quite a few of her posts, and I think I’m going to try her caspule wardrobe workbook and see where it goes!

The Anna Edit– once I explored blogs for a bit I went straight to YouTube, and found the Bristish YouTuber The Anna Edit! I think I watched her first video about a caspule wardrobe from 205, and she of course mentioned Un-Fancy! I’ve watched a few of her videos since and really like her videos!

Clothing

Wifey shirt– I bought this shirt months ago and didn’t wear it until I was officially a wife (the day after the wedding). It’s so comfy and cute, and of course it has a small touch of Disney! They have other bridesmaids ones in the same style, and a hubby version. It doesn’t look like it’s currently available, but I’ve linked the shop!

Happily Ever After spirit jersey– I also bought this a while ago, I think even last year! It’s from Pretty Little Monograms, and I wore it the day before the wedding! It was a limited edition release, but they have lots of fun stuff, and I love the personalization! This was a limited edition item, but I love the items in their shop!

Off the shoulder dress from Le Chateau– I picked this up for a wedding in October, and I love it! It was warm and comfortable, and it has pockets! It was on the expensive side, but I know I will wear it again.

Beauty

Clinique Pop Splash lip gloss in Sorbet Pop– I picked up this lip gloss for the wedding after my makeup trial, and I’ve been wearing it a lot since! It’s not overly sticky which is nice, and it’s a very subtle colour that’s not too far off of my natural lip colour. It’s a little expensive for the size of tube, but I think it will last awhile!

Drink

London Fog– I had been craving this drink so much in October! I finally got to a Starbucks to order it, and they were out of Earl Grey tea! So I tried a black tea latte (which wasn’t anything special). A week later I finally got my fix! It’s such a warm cozy drink, perfect for fall, especially because I’m not a pumpkin person.

Priceless

Spending time with family- I did get to see a lot of my family at the end of September at my wedding, but I didn’t exactly get to spend a lot of time with them! So I was happy Thanksgiving (in Canada) was early this year and I got to spend some more time with my family and Ethan’s family.

If you’d like to hear more about my October favourites, check out the video below!
