Hello friends, I hope you are all well and ready for another Disney post today! Continuing on in the post series I started a few weeks ago, I’m sharing my Have To’s at Animal Kingdom! Keep in mind that I have not yet seen Pandora: The World of Avatar, so those attractions won’t be on the list right now, but most likely will be eventually. Okay, let’s jump in!
Expedition Everest- I love hitting Animal Kingdom right at park opening and heading straight for Expedition Everest! I get a few rides in and then I’m good. While sometimes I still have to close my eyes when it comes to the Yeti, I love this ride! The speed, change in direction, the views from the top, I love it all!
Kilimajaros Safaris- I love going on the safari! It’s always different because you never know what animals you might see, and the cast member drivers are always great! We usually go in the morning when it’s said the animals are more active, and we usually have pretty good luck! I also love taking pictures of the animals, although it can be tricky with how bumpy the ride is!
It’s Tough to be a Bug- I generally do this so I can get up close to the Tree of Life, because I always like to find new animal carvings! This is something fun to do with someone who has never done it before, and might not be aware of some of the special effects ;).
Tree of Life Awakenings- I saw these for the first time on our last trip (which was also my first time seeing Animal Kingdom after dark) and I really thought it was a great way to end the day. Animal Kingdom got a lot of slack for being a half day park, but something about seeing the crowds stop and watch these little shows made me really happy! If you want to see what I’m talking about, check out the Disney Vlog below!
The Festival of The Lion King- I love this show! The “Can You Feel the Love Tonght” scenes always makes me cry, but this show is such a good time! I grew up with The Lion King, so it’s fun to jam out to the songs and watch the different performers!
Wandering the Park!- Animal Kingdom doesn’t have a ton of attractions, so it’s definitely one of the parks I love to wander. I feel like every time I’m there I find a new path to walk down, and I love seeing the animals up close!

Have To’s at Animal Kingdom (you’re here!)
I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my have to’s at Animal Kingdom today! I love spending time at Animal Kingdom, because it is such a unique park! I feel like it is also one of the most detailed parks, so I enjoy walking around and soaking it all in. It used to be a half day park in my opinion, but now I enjoy spending the full day there!
What are your have to’s at Animal Kingdom? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you so much for joining me today!
