Hello everyone, I hope your day is going well so far! Today I’m sharing the things that I can’t wait for on our upcoming Disney Cruise! If you missed the Walt Disney World version of this post, you can read that here. Okay, let’s jump in!
Seeing the ship
I am so excited for when we will first catch a glance of our ship! It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a cruise, so it will be fun to be on a ship again! And one with Disney touches is even better! I know we won’t be able to see everything, but I can’t wait to explore the ship! We are planning on staying on the ship when we are docked in Nassau so we can explore even more.
the shows
I have heard the shows are amazing, and I can’t wait to see them! We have the second seating for meals so we will see the first shows of the evening. I probably have researched all of the shows but right now I know Beauty and the Beast is one I will see and I can’t wait!
the food
I can’t wait to see all of the restaurants in person and try the food! We are only on a 3 night cruise so that means we will try each of the restaurants once. I remember on my first cruise being confused that there were no prices on the menu and being thrown off, so it will be nice to experience that again and try whatever I’d like! And maybe get multiple desserts.
castaway cay
I am probably most excited to experience Castaway Cay! I am so excited to enjoy the island and what it has to offer. So far we have signed up for the Castaway Cay 5K, and have a snorkel rental. Other than that, we will probably be relaxing at the adults only beach!
the shops
Exclusive merchandise? Heck yes! A DCL spirit jersey might be calling my name. And maybe something from Castaway Cay. And a mug, Okay maybe a haul will be coming after this trip (obviously).
RELAXING
This year has been quite stressful, so I am so excited to relax with my husband! The whole reason we are taking this trip in the first place is because our new build home was delayed, so we are getting away to relax! We also planned the Walt Disney World portion first so we can go crazy and then use the cruise to take it slow.
adult only areas
Lastly, we will probably take advantage of the many adults only areas! Ethan and I had talked and said that we probably wouldn’t go on a Disney Cruise until after we have a family, but after visiting Aulani that has the same sort of setup, we realized we could go now! So if the main pools are too loud or busy, we will definitely head to the adult only areas! And I imagine we will spend most of our time on that beach at Castaway Cay.

As you can probably tell, I’m excited for pretty much everything, and I can’t wait to leave in less than two weeks!
