You guys. I know I have been teasing about my upcoming Walt Disney World trip, and it is getting so close! While I’m not sharing when exactly I’m going just yet, I thought I would share some of the things I’m excited to see and do on my trip! Some items are the list are ones that I have never done before, while others are ones I’ve missed! I should mention that I am the type of person who tries to avoid spoliers of any kinds, because I like being surprised by new things! Let’s get started!
Frozen Ever After- The ride that replaced Malestrom in the Norway pavilion of Epcot. I know Frozen fever is everywhere, but I’m excited for a new ride! I like Frozen (Sven is my favourite), so I’m excited to see what they do with it. I have a FastPass+ for it so I know I will get to go on it once for sure (as long as there are no technical issues, which there have been since it opened), maybe twice! I don’t necessarily think that the new ride fits in World Showcase, but that’s where it is, so it doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t fit!
Festival of Fantasy- I wrote a whole post about this parade, and I can’t wait to see it again! I love the costumes, the music, and the characters in this parade! I loved taking pictures last time, so this time I might focus on enjoying it!
Soarin’ Around the World- a new version of Soarin’ that fits more in the theme of Epcot. I’m excited to see the new version, but I will definitely miss the old version! I also have a FastPass+ for this, so I can’t wait to experience it!
Under The Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid- I rode this for the first time in 2013, and with The Little Mermaid being my favourite Disney movie of all time, I loved it. It was down for refurbishment last February, so since it’s been 3 years since I’ve ridden on it, this attraction is something I am super excited for! I’ll never forget in our 2013 trip it was the first thing we did, and Ethan was even nice enough to wait for about 45 minutes for it. What a guy! 🙂
Christmas Decorations- I have never seen Christmas decorations in Walt Disney World! I am so excited to see everything with a touch of Christmas! I cannot wait to see the castle with lights on it! I will probably cry. Because that’s how I do.
Animal Kingdom after dark- I have never been to Animal Kingdom after dark! Something about riding Expedition Everest in the dark seems so cool. The last few times I’ve visited Animal Kingdom it was more of a 1/2 day to 3/4 day visit, so I’m really happy to have a full day for Animal Kingdom in the schedule!
Tree of Life Awakenings- This one goes with the previous one, but I can’t wait to see the tree of life at night! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, every night at Animal Kingdom projections are shown on the Tree of Life. I don’t know exactly what it entails because I avoid spoilers, but there are different versions and it happens about every 15 minutes.
Staying at a new resort- While I’m not giving away exactly where we are staying, I am so excited to try a new resort! It’s one that I never thought would be possible, so I can’t wait!
Eating at new restaurants!- After being to Walt Disney World so many times you can find yourself falling into patterns of where you eat, and this time I am eating at a ton of new restaurants! I have a post coming up soon about exactly that, so keep an eye out for it!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party- As I mentioned above I have never been to WDW around Christmas, so I am going all out this time. I can’t even but into words how excited I am to experience everything!
Taking Pictures- On our last trip Ethan and I took so many pictures (all of the pictures you see on the blog). I can’t wait t do that again! I’m already starting a list of things I need to take pictures of! I’m also hoping for some nicer skies this trip, last trip we have lots of grey skies :(.
If you were heading to Walt Disney World soon (or if you are), what would you be most excited for? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you so much for reading!
